I suppose we kind of expected this. Yes, Lucasfilm have responded to yesterday’s rumours that there is to be a brand new STAR WARS trilogy which was said to be being financed from the takings of the 3D re-releases.
Speaking to Wired.com, Josh Kushkins said: “This is, of course, completely false,”
He added: “George Lucas has plenty of projects to keep him busy right now — including plenty of Star Wars projects — but there are no new Star Wars feature films planned.”
What do we think? I’m still not convinced.
