Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and Rashida Jones have joined the human cast of THE MUPPETS, a new film also featuring Jason Segal (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL), who also co-wrote the script with Nicholas Stoller.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film will revolves around the famous Muppets who hve to unite to save a movie studio.
The trade reports that Adams will play Segel’s girlfriend, who joins him in the quest to gather the Muppets, while Cooper is the villain of the piece, while Jones would play an ABC exec.
Shooting starts in LA in November, with the film set to arrive in cinemas in December 2011.
