Russell Crowe has joined the cast of Wu Tang Clan musician Rza’s debut movie The Man With The Iron Fist, according to RZA himself. The film, which is apparently to be co-produced by Eli Roth, is described as a period kung-fu movie which is set to go before cameras in December.
RZA and Crowe appeared together in the Ridley Scott flick American Gangster a couple of years ago, and they obviously formed a bond as this is a very unlikely project for the Robin Hood actor.
E! Online report the news that was spilled at the weekend at the MTV VMA’s.
RZAtold the site:
RZA will play a weapons-making village blacksmith in feudal China.
