John McTiernan, helmer of the original Die Hard and Predator movies is moving back to the director’s chair for the first time since 2003’s Basic with a new film entitled Shrapnel, so reports Variety.
The new film will be based around two war veterans who hunt each other in a deadly game of cat and mouse. The film’s script, written by Evan Daughtery made the 2008 ‘Black List’ the infamous list of superb ‘unproduced screenplays’ in Hollywood.
McTiernan’s other credits include The Hunt For Red October, Last Action Hero and Rollerball.
