Variety are reporting that Sara Paxton, Dustin Milligan and Katharine McPhee have joined the cast of David R. Ellis‘s planned Shark Night 3D. The film also stars Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz, Joel David Moore and Sinqua Walls and revolves around a a group of college friends who spend the weekend at a lake house, only to find all sorts of dangerous sharks lurking beneath the waters.

Shooting kicks off later this month Shreveport, Louisiana. The script was written by Jesse Studenberg and Will Hayes.
