Josh Hartnett joins McGuigan’s Tomorrow

We have just received word that Josh Hartnett has signed on the line to star in director Paul McGuigan‘s Tomorrow.

We have also been sent the promo poster (right).

Here’s the official word from Worldview Entertainment:

Worldview Entertainment has teamed up with producer Mark Williams and Zero Gravity Management to finance the sci-fi thriller, “Tomorrow”, which will be directed by Paul McGuigan and star Josh Hartnett. McGuigan is a renowned UK filmmaker who has directed several fan favorites, most recently the sci-fi action movie, “Push”. Hartnett has starred in several blockbuster hits over the last decade including “Pearl Harbor” with Ben Affleck and Ridley Scott’s intense war film, “Black Hawk Down”.

“Tomorrow” is a sci-fi thriller in the vein of “Memento” about a man who travels back and forth through time and space, trying to prevent the murder of his family. Written by Michael Gould, the film is scheduled to commence principal photography later this year in Louisiana. The film will be the third collaboration for McGuigan and Harnett who have previously worked together on “Lucky Number Slevin” with Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu and Morgan Freeman and “Wicker Park” with Rose Byrne and Diane Kruger.

Simon Crowe’s SC Films International will handle foreign sales.

About the Author

- Paul has been writing for film websites for over ten years. The Hollywood News was born out of love for film and his frustration at not being a very good filmmaker himself. Those who cannot do, write about – or so they say. Aside from the site, Paul has directed a music video (badly), has one credit to his name on the IMDb, enjoys running, driving (now that he has finally passed his test at the age of 33), and of course going to the movies.
