Channel 4 have confirmed that they will launch this year’s final Big Brother series on Wednesday June 9th, at 9pm. Davina McCall is back to host the live shows.

Instead of selecting the housemates before the launch and sending them in one by one, Big Brother will choose them on the launch night in front of the crowd and the live TV audience.
The Big Brother bosses hinted that “there will be more hopefuls than the house can hold”, but we’ve had word that there will in fact be 100 potential hopefuls in total, which will eventually be whittled down to the final 16. Once they’ve been chosen, they will finally enter the house in the usual style and allow the games to really begin…
