British TV host Vernon Kay has reportedly signed a $1 million deal to host a US TV game show, according to The Sun. Kay, married to Strictly Come Dancing star Tess Daly, is said to have flown to LA last week to test for The Six, and landed the prestigious job ahead of US rivals because of his Bolton accent.
The Six, which will start filming in the summer, is based on Russia’s highest-rating game show What? Where? When?
