Kevin Bacon has signed on le dotted line to star opposite Steve Carell in a new, as yet untitled, comedy at Warner Brothers. Bacon? Comedy? Awesome!!!
The Washington Post report the news that the film sees Carell play a loving husband whose wife (Julianne Moore) threatens to divorce him. As a result he hires a slick life coach (Ryan Gosling) to try and help him save his marriage. Bacon plays a co-worker of Moore’s character with whom she is having an affair.
Gosling? Life Coach? Comedy? Oh stop. Brilliant news. Emma Stone, Dan Fogelman and Analeigh Tipton also star in the film, which is directed and written by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (Bad Santa, I Love You Philip Morris).
