Clash of the Titans helmer Louis Leterrier has revealed that he is on the short list to direct the planned Avengers movie for Marvel. Speaking to Aint It Cool News at a press junket for the about to be released swords and sandals pic, Leterrier said:
“I am on the shortlist, but I’m at the bottom of the shortlist, I’m sure. (Laughs) I don’t know who the other guys are, but I have a great relationship with [Marvel], and I’ve been very vocal to them and everyone else that I am the one to direct it… We’ll see. Time will tell.”
The Avengers will bring together the likes of The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and more in one huge super-hero movie.
Leterrier brought the Edward Norton starring flick The Incredible Hulk to screens a couple of years back.
Clash of the Titans is in cinemas in 3D from next month.
