Sigourney Weaver, John C Reilly and Alia Shawkat head to the Rapids

Sigourney Weaver, John C. Reilly and Alia Shawkat have joined Ed Helms and Anne Heche in director Miguel Arteta's Cedar Rapids. The film is set up at Fox Searchlight.

In the film, Helm plays a sad-sack insurance agent who goes to an industry convention to try and save the jobs of his colleagues.

Weaver plays Helms' former seventh-grade teacher, according to the trade Variety. Phil Johnston wrote the script for the film which is already shooting.
