Robert Downey Jr and Ben Stiller turn down Oscar presenting gig

The word on the street at the moment is that both Robert Downey Jr. and funnyman Ben Stiller recently turned down the chance of hosting next year's Academy Awards. According to Nikki Finke, the two passed on the thankless task of doing the gig after being offered it by producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman.

Hugh Jackman has also turned down the job (after doing an amazing one last year), so who will host the Oscars 2010? We'll keep you posted.
