Bruce Willis will play a mercenary murderer in the film of popular videogame 'Kane and Lynch'.
The film's producer, Adam Askarieh, told Gamedaily.com: "He called it one of the best action scripts he's ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms of action scripts because he's read everything over the last 20 years.
Willis, 54, will play Adam 'Kane' Marcus, a convicted murderer who is kidnapped by his former employers while being bussed to death row. He teams up with "schizophrenic psychopath" James Seth Lynch in a twist that sees heroes who are as sociopathic as the villains.
Askarieh said: "Kane and Lynch is a great buddy action movie."
"It's the story of a mercenary teaming up with a schizophrenic psychopath to save his wife and daughter".
'Bad Santa' star and Angelina Jolie's ex, Billy Bob Thornton, is rumoured to be in the running to play Lynch.
It's not the first time Willis has been involved in video games. In 1998, his voice and likeness were used for the hero of the Playstation game 'Apocalypse'.
