"The producers were shocked when her team handed them a three-page list of demands - including live lobsters to be prepared fresh when she's ready to eat and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka - all for just one day on the set.

Bloc Party have hinted they are to split for good.

Drummer Matt Tong admitted the group are unsure what the future holds following their recent announcement of a planned hiatus at the end of their current UK tour.

Matt said:  "Unfortunately that is going to be it for the time being.

"We definitely need to have a break and gain a bit of perspective on life outside of the band. Hopefully if we do reconvene at some point in the future we'll be refreshed and have so many ideas to bring to what it is we do."

Cerys Matthews says recording her new album was like "going back to school".

The former Catatonia star released two versions of her latest LP, 'Don't Look Down', one in English and one in Welsh and says she was determined to ensure the translated version was completely accurate.

She said:  "The English version is obviously doing better but I'm so glad we did the Welsh version too. I like to challenge myself and that really was a challenge! It was like going back to school, making sure the grammar was just right and stuff - I'm a gluten for punishment but I'm very self determined."
