It was the battle of the horror flicks this past weekend in the US with Warner Brothers' THE FINAL DESTINATION going up against The Weinstein Company's HALLOWEEN II. That film made about $17.4 over the three days to Sunday. DISTRICT 9 still makes the top five at four with another $10.9 million in the bank, and GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA continues its stay with $8 million dead in ticket sales.
