Michael Jackson's millions of fans are awaiting plans for the funeral set to eclipse everything that precedes it (even those of Elvis Presley and Princess Diana), but tonight vigils will be held around the world for the late King of Pop, who passed away on Thursday.LA Late reports that two such vigils will be held in Detroit (the home of Motown):
Detroit Jackson fans will have two candlelight vigils on Sunday.
The first vigil is at 7:30 pm, Hart Plaza in Downtown Detroit. The second vigil is at 8 pm at the Motown Museum, (aka Hitsville U.S.A.) on West Grand Blvd.
Late Friday in Los Angles, the L.A. Coroner's Office released Michael Jackson's body to his family. Reports on FOX News early Friday said that once the Jackson family has the body it can begin funeral preparations.
