Infomercial star Billy Mays is found dead in Florida

The online press are reporting tha infomercial star Billy Mays has been found dead at the age of 50. Entertainment website Digital Spy reports:

Known as the 'king of infomercials' and cohost of The Discovery Channel's Pitchmen series, Mays was found unresponsive early Sunday in his home in Tampa, Florida.

The Discovery Channel released in a statement: "Billy was a pioneer in his field and helped many people fulfill their dreams."
