Plans are afoot to bring a prequel to the DIE HARD movie to comic book stands later in the year. DIE HARD: YEAR ONE will follow earlier adventures of New York cop John McClane. It is set to be released in August by Boom! Studios, according to Empire magazine.The comic, set in 1976, will see the rookie cop honing his skills during a plot involving the bicentennial celebrations in New York City.
The 1988 DIE HARD movie, starring Bruce Willis (above) spawned three sequels.
